What is a Neova node?
A Neova node is a key component of the decentralized infrastructure powering the Neova Protocol. These nodes contribute compute, bandwidth, and storage resources to the network, enabling decentralized cloud services such as file storage and data availability. Nodes are incentivized for their participation and play a fundamental role in ensuring the scalability and resilience of the protocol.
Who can set up a node?
At this stage, nodes can only be deployed through our official Node-as-a-Service (NaaS) partners. These partners offer a simplified way to operate a node without requiring deep technical expertise or self-hosted infrastructure.

How do I get started with a node?
To launch a node, simply register with one of our official NaaS providers listed above. These platforms handle the technical deployment and ongoing maintenance of your node, allowing you to contribute to the network and earn rewards without needing to manage servers directly. Each provider may have slightly different onboarding steps, but in general you will:
- Create an account on the NaaS platform.
- Choose the Neova protocol from the available node programs.
- Launch your node and monitor its performance from the dashboard.
How are nodes secured?
Nodes are secured through multiple layers of network-level and protocol-level mechanisms. Each node operates in a permissionless P2P environment, and all actions—such as proof of storage or data availability—are verified by the protocol itself. Furthermore, reputation mechanisms and cryptographic proofs are in place to ensure node operators behave honestly and consistently.
What rewards can I earn with a node?
Currently, node operators are rewarded in Neova Points. These points serve as a precursor to the upcoming launch of the $NEOV token and will be convertible into $NEOV after the Token Generation Event (TGE). The amount of points earned depends on factors such as:
- The uptime and reliability of your node
- The amount of resources contributed (bandwidth, storage, etc.)
- The total number of active nodes in the network
Do you provide support for managing nodes?
Yes. While the infrastructure is handled by our NaaS partners, we provide support in collaboration with them through multiple channels:
- Official Discord server: for real-time help and community support
- Documentation and tutorials provided by each NaaS platform
- Direct assistance via the support sections of each partner website
As we move toward the self-hosted phase, more advanced tooling and technical documentation will also become available.
